This identity for Oxford Limited, a subsidiary of the University of Oxford, balances the university’s rich heritage with a modern, standalone presence.
The concept began with hand-drawn sketches and evolved into a typographic solution using a specific typeface to convey tradition and professionalism. Lowercase lettering enhances character expression, reflecting Oxford’s architectural rhythm. The subtle fusion of the ‘d’ in Oxford and the ‘l’ in Limited creates a cohesive mark, symbolising unity and strength.
The result is a refined, versatile logo that aligns with Oxford’s legacy while positioning the brand for contemporary relevance.
