BMW i3_

Design | Storyboard

The ‘Become Electric’ animation was developed to promote the BMW i3. Centered on the core strengths of the car, the animation leverages its innovative features to clearly communicate the benefits of electric mobility to the viewer.

The creative approach combines live-action footage of the vehicle with animated paper-effect graphics, on-screen text, and a compelling voice-over. This blend of media brings the animation to life in a visually engaging and accessible way.

The paper-effect animations are deliberately designed with themes of sustainability and renewable energy. These elements not only reinforce the eco-friendly nature of the BMW i3 but also present the advantages of electric vehicles in a simple, relatable manner.

This piece won the Gold award at the EVCOM Clarion Awards.
